Do you think of heaven as a place where we will have celestial bodies and zoom about on puffy clouds? Will it be like what we experience on earth, only better. Maybe there won't be earthquakes that cause damage. Maybe it won't rain on the days we have planned outdoor picnics. Maybe there won't be mosquitoes or if there are, each little bite they make will fill us with joy, instead of making us itch.
The bible suggests that heaven will be way beyond anything we can imagine. Consider that right now, we have seven basic colors. With these, we can make a variety of shades. Mix red and blue and we see purple.
But realize God invented colors. If He chooses, He can make additional colors. Just imagine how a meadow would look filled with flowers of many different colors.
But as it is written:
"EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."
